“Rachel has worked in the fitness industry for the past 12 years in both the UK and Australia giving her a deep insight into health, exercise and conditioning specifically for sport and performance and health and aesthetic purposes.
Upon graduating from The University of Birmingham, UK with a BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy, Rachel worked within the NHS as a rotational physiotherapist and supplemented clinical work through employment with high performance sports people and teams. Her passion for strength training brought her to Sydney, Australia where she is now regarded as Sydney’s most popular female strength and conditioning coaches.
Rachel’s clientele through the years has ranged from personal trainers; MMA, rugby and crossfit athletes; fitness/bikini competitors to corporate/weekend warriors and general health and fitness clients who tend to take a little more serious approach to their training. Rachel is an International lecturer of the FMA Strength Training Certification Program and is also a faculty member involved in contributing to the course content and development of FMA internationally.
Rachel is the Director of ATHLETIC FOX Pty Ltd; bringing the truth in Female Strength Training, Aesthetics, Nutrition, Supplementation and the Beauty Business! Giving a little bit of harsh reality and tough love, transforming ladies into the ultimate sexy and confident Athletic Fox. Athletic Fox runs “Fox Camps” in Sydney and has an Online 12 week Training Program.
In the media, Rachel writes monthly “Ask the Expert” columns for Mens Fitness and Shape Magazines in addition to being a main contributor to “On Duty” and “The Line” magazines. Rachel is Head Strength Coach on Wimp2Warrior, an MMA reality TV show; and a presenter on The Takedown MMA show due for release September 2013. Rachel is a published fitness model and presenter, having been featured in several T.V commercials, websites, blogs, billboards and magazines including Ironman, Musclemag, Oxygen, On Duty and The Sydney Magazine.
Rachels interests lie in predominantly in Strength Training and Mixed Martial Arts. When she is not in the gym, you will find her on a beach in the sun or in an expensive restaurant drinking fine red wine!”
